A dream has realized

Jeanette, traveling in the year 1997 from Germany by car through Africa on her way to South America, came to this remarkable country for just a stopover. She decided immediately that Namibia is her “place of heaven”. Together with an experienced Namibian tour guide they established West Coast Overland Safaris & Tours, 3 years later opened Camp Xaragu in the heart of Damaraland. It has now proven that Jeanette “ doing all the paper work” permanently stays in Windhoek, especially after meeting her “Jacques”, being an architect from South Africa who came here on business purpose for just 1 year. He also fell in love with this extraordinary country with its friendly people and significant landscape and last but not least Jeanette as well.

Her dreams still remains to build a Guesthouse with architectural know-how, African style, beautiful view and personalized service. To get started, Kashima B&B is the perfect introduction in a miniature and modest style.
